Fokker F9 taking off from Salamaua
This bus is piloted by Geoff Hemsworth one of my old pals who was at the Aero club when I was there. He was with Ray Parer in the England-Aust. air-race and came last by 3 months. Highest peak in the background is 10,000 ft . Mt Wellington [Hobart] is 4000ft odd.
