Our District Superintendent in 1971, Betuel Peril, decided that the PEB should go on tour and have its meetings in rural locations in order to demystify the Board's activities. Here we're arriving at Kairiru Island for a meeting to be held at St. Xavier's High School. On the left (wading) is Betuel Peril; near him Brother Canute. Half-standing in the boat is Konda Aisoli, associate DEO. Konda was a skilled actor and his distinctive voice was heard in many PNGBC productions.
